weird words

I don't have much to say, but just to let you know:

Being visibly pregnant means I suddenly get to know my neighbours who come up to me to say kind things. I swear I don't think I ever noticed that woman before! She lives in the house next door and we've been here more than ten years.

I'm pretty useless at the moment because I'm in the beached whale stage now. My back is starting to complain, too, and slowly, slowly things are gearing up for the big moment.

We worshipped at the altar of the gods of Swedish furniture today where we acquired one smallish piece of furniture which is in the final stages of assembly now - I haven't been much help except for good advice and putting books back into the bookcase that had to be moved to make way for the new addition.

We've been watching True Blood, but we're still at least one or two episodes behind. ( Two spoiler-lite comments: )
