Handbags aren't really my thing - I used to prefer a small backpack, but with school life I've already got a huge backpack and now need a handbag for all the personal stuff.

My old handbag only had one big compartment with a small zip-up pocket inside. Not very practical, especially when you've left it at home and are at school worrying about the whereabouts of your wallet and call the boyfriend to check whether it's safely inside the handbag, because he will not find the zip-up pocket with the wallet and sent you into panic mode.

With the new handbag - which I got from his parents for my birthday but which he chose after going to lots of shops - this is less likely to happen, because it's got lots of compartments and is thus less of a black hole than the old one.

Here it is:

It's simple and black and I'm still looking for a keyring or some other colourful attachments to spice it up a little.

Here you can see inside:

And that's what I found inside yesterday:

This is basically what I always carry around with me - notice the chalk in the metal box and the empty camera bag. The turquoise envelope is a gift card my students gave me for a chain selling perfume and make-up. My mobile is horribly outdated and almost always switched off. The scrap of paper in the background shows the classes I'll be teaching after the holidays. My wallet needs to be freed from receipts and other junk.

You can always use the meme to clean out your bag - and then take the pics...

Yep, it's a Moleskine - it was part of the birthday present package and I love it. The boyfriend remembered how I always looked at them lovingly in the shops but never bought one because they're relatively expensive.
