Five question meme.
Jun. 16th, 2008 07:29 pmThere are memes that consist of a bunch of more or less random questions and that gets old after a while, but the five questions meme can be kept fresh, as long as you come up with new and creative questions. I'm not sure how good I'll be at that, but I'll try. If you just want to comment, but don't want to answer any questions, that's fine, too, just give me a hint, so I don't rack my brain thinking up clever things to ask you.
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favourite song. Or your favourite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
I asked
kazzy_cee for questions
1. You write so well in English - how many languages do you speak?
Thanks. I speak German and English. I've got a very very basic knowledge of French and I also did Latin at school, but I'm a two languages kind of person - there's just not room for another, I'm afraid.
2. What would be your ideal career?
I quite like teaching and I want to stay around school. I'm not really interested in the administrative posts, but could imagine finding a niche in teacher training, but as the whole system is in flux at the moment, I'm quite content with where I am.
3. How tall are you? :)
Tall is the wrong word. I'm slightly taller than Madonna and measure 1 metre and 56 centimetres in my socks.
4. What is your favourite colour for clothes.
I don't have one favourite colour for clothes, but I wear a lot of darkblue jeans (no problem at most German schools) and I like browns and dark reds and most shades of green and blue. I don't like myself in pink or bright red or most pastels.
5. What kind of camera do you have (and what would you love to have?).
I've got a Canon Ixus 40 and I love it because it's so small and goes everywhere with me, but lately I've felt a yearning for a proper camera, but on the other hand a digital single-lens reflex camera would be bigger and I don't know whether my pictures would actually turn out better... Sometimes I miss my old non-digital reflex camera but that's more nostalgia than anything else. It sometimes had trouble with properly transporting the film which led to hilarious double exposure effects ....

Date: 2008-06-16 09:00 pm (UTC)I don't have a formal dress code to work at my college so I like to wear jeans in the winter (so comfortable).
I love my larger digital camera, but you do sacrifice being able to slip it into a pocket. I'd really like a new 'baby' camera too for those moments, so I'm going to have to put it on my birthday list (in November *lol!*).
