Thanks for all the birthday wishes.

Again, it looks like the German Post service has screwed up - my brother sent me a postcard that hasn't arrived yet. My greataunt's birthday letter got through and that's it. If it turns out that there's more mail missing, I shall have to investigate.

When did you send it? I know that my brother put the card in the mailbox on the third and it was emptied that day, but never got here. I think there wasn't any mail on the fourth and I suspect that we had a substitute postperson again who couldn't be bothered delivering all the mail. I'll make some phonecalls on Monday, but I suspect that nothing will come of it, but at least it will alert someone to the fact that stuff has been going missing.

It's a shame that the 'nice something' didn't make it through - thank you for sending it!

P. sent it for me on the third I believe. Because it was for Germany, he handed it in at the post office, and if I recall correctly the last time I sent you something it arrived the same week or so, didn't it?
