So, what have I been up to?

Nothing much really. I rewatched several Firefly episodes, some with commentaries, while ironing several loads of laundry. I've started the big end of school-year clean-up. I've been enjoying the rain and thunderstorms. I've got my glasses back. I slept through most of Thursday afternoon - had the beginning of a migraine, but a long nap sorted it out. I haven't had much chance to comment on your entries.

Gah, it's the beginning of the holidays and I'm bored already? Or just slightly aimless?

Well, this tip of an appartment needs to be thouroughly cleaned first. We've done the living room and I've started on the study, but it looks like I've got enough to do here! Sorry!

I'm voting aimless. I've got the same feeling when I'm at the start of the holidays. You want to start doing nothing, but then the guilt creeps upon you and you wonder why the hell you are doing nothing and not all the fun stuff / stuff that needs to be done. So the first thing I'll do at the start of my holiday next week is the annual desk clean-up. And right after there's time (and space) to fill out my taxes.

Yeah, I think that's it. I've managed to transfer all the important dates from the official school calendar into my big green agenda and will tackle the big filing this afternoon or tomorrow.

It's not really a guilt thing for me, I think, more like I'm suddenly spoilt for choice and can't decide what I want to do.

First there's some grocery shopping to be done though.

Or it's just procrastination. Where we would procrastinate doing house chores, we end up procrastinating not doing housechores. And instead of doing fun things like going out and shopping, I end up sitting at home internetting because I'm putting off doing housechores that should be done first. See I'm actualy doing the same thing I'd do during the school year, but I'm spending more time at home because I don't have to teach.

I'm currently playing around with the graphics programmes on ubuntu. It's nicer than filing a school year's worth of stuff. I'm not really getting anywhere though.

My shoulder was playing up again, so that was my excuse for not doing proper office stuff.

Aimless can be lovely. Especially after a long year of work and a hot summer is upon us.

Yep...I'm going to be aimless today too. Other than I have a "to do" list, that is. But at least it's a list of fun things, like reading.

Hmm. I don't have a list, but a couple of projects. I'm trying to make some new icons and play around with my layout, but I don't really know what I'm doing, so things are very sloooooow and slightly frustrating. Well, I'll get the hang of it.
