You knew this post was going to come - you can't expect me to go to an urban area without coming back with pictures of street art. I'm always on the look-out for the signs that other people have left.

Brussels has a lot of them and I'll share some of what I found with you.

There's cute stuff, like this robodog:

It looks like it's got some sort of gas mask and it definitely needed one where it lived: the back of some building and a favourite place for people who needed to pee. (And I do want to call it "he" for some reason, even though it's pink - what do you think? Boy? Girl? Robot-IT?)

And then there was this girl:

I think she's icon material - I'll have a look at the graphics programmes we've got installed for ubuntu whether I can fix up something. BTW, I quite like linux and I've even got an instant messenger programme installed, but haven't tried it out so far, because those I usually talk to don't seem to be online.

More cuteness:

I've got some more arty stuff, but I'll leave that for another day.

If you've got Ubuntu, you probably have Gimp pre-installed. I use that as well, and it's very powerful stuff.

Sorry about not being online. Am working at thinking about class prep for tomorrow.

Not sure what it's called (Gaim?) and I'm still trying to get the hang of it.
Don't worry about not being online - we'll manage to talk at some point, I'm sure!

Errr, I just found out that Gimp is the graphics programme. I haven't played around with it yet, but the bf made me an icon with it. I'll upload it in a bit.

Gimp behaves very much like photoshop, apart from some things that are typical for open source stuff. Usualy thes are the things that you hardly ever use. I bet you're gonna love it.

A couple more weeks and there's the holidays! I'm counting down to get rid of the übertiredness.

Here it's days rather than weeks! Reports are due on the 20th and then I'm officially on holiday. Had a day off today, too, so have managed to catch up on sleep.

Lucky you! As of tomorrow it's officilay three more weeks. And since I'm in primary school that's three more full weeks. In secondary school those are reserved for exams.

Definitely a boy! The pink just makes him very cute and stylish :)

I like the little bird drawings.

Your opinion as an expert on the colour pink is very important to me. Thanks for agreeing with me! ;-)
