Update.

I haven't been around much -

there was marking hell (and I'm still trapped in it),
then there was a spur of the moment trip to Brussels - very enjoyable and a much-needed change of scenery, or as we say here Tapetenwechsel, literally wallpaper change.

My online access has been limited because of the marking assignments, school drama and the boyfriend rebuilding our computer. I'm on Linux now and while the system hasn't been set up entirely, he's got the net access up and running. There is still much work to be done, so don't expect to see a lot of me in the next couple of days....

I've managed to read most of my friendslist and you're all in my thoughts - whether you're happy, sad, inbetween or kerfuffling.

The Brussels pictures will eventually be posted - they're mostly street art, so if you're looking for shots of me and frances_lievens getting ready to go to a party you'll be disappointed.

There's family stuff, too, and maybe I'll post about that some other day.

And here I am and don't even know whether livejournal will let me post this.

Well, livejournal didn't, so here it is two days later. The weather is still grey and miserable, but I've had a relaxing long weekend with some work thrown in.
