Jul. 7th, 2015 09:53 pmOn Sunday we went to a local design & upcycling market - they have a summer version (Greta) and a winter version (Claus).
This year the theme was "Alice in Wonderland" - seven-year old Greta was celebrating her un-birthday.

The Cheshire cat was there, too:

In the background you can see the pretty Gründerzeit houses.

They always do great decorations (and the stalls have some wonderful stuff, too).
The market starts off at Schillerplatz, a square that sports some dubious 70s concrete design with a non-functional fountain and an old war memorial - which they always try to incorporate:

The soldier mourning his fallen comrade doubled as the Hatter:

Ken came as the Mad Hatter, too:

Also, these two ladies:

Fandom was represented by Villains and Heroes (Facebook link) with cross-stitch miniatures:
