Easter domesticity post.
Apr. 5th, 2015 03:09 pmCurrently I'm on Easter break, much deserved after a crazy marking phase. I spent the first couple of days of break filing teaching materia and sorting out the mess that was the dining room - which had doubled as my study.
Colouring eggs is part of that and this year we bought a "Shake It" set:

Results:

Definitely a new look and surprisingly not a lot of mess. But we were lucky because the kid didn't decide to grab one of the colour cartridges. The rice disintegrated fairly quickly, but we could have replaced that, if we had wanted to colour more eggs, but we don't want more than we can eat.
Also, Grandma's Easter decorations were found:

Happy Easter!
