Treckerfest

Unsurprisingly there were a lot of tractors, old and new:

They were all standing on a field in the middle of not quite nowhere:

There was Kistenklettern, too, which I imagine is a German invention, because we're the ones with the Getränkekisten though the bottle crates in question were for Imperialistenbrause, i.e. imperialist lemonade made by Coca-Cola.

The kid took pictures, too:

The kid, his mum and his step-uncle (who had made sure that we all turned up: "No pressure, guys.") went on a ride on this nice green tractor. (Picture taken by the kid.)

The village volunteer fire brigade had invited the owners of some vintage fire engines:

And these guys showed up again:
