sister_luckUnsurprisingly I took a ton of pictures on holiday. Some might make good postcards, others are only interesting to family members and quite a few of them are faux-artistic depictions of streetart and dilapidated houses. Oh and some show flowers.
Because this is my blog I can post all of them and write up what they mean to me.
Let's start with this:
Our apartment was clean but basic. Except for this ensemble: table, mirror and clown vase with artificial flowers. So hideous that it was fabulous.
We had a swimming pool we shared with the occupants of the other 7 apartments at Casa Idalina and a kitchen with an extremely loud fridge. We got used to it.
In holiday brochure speak: situated in a quiet residential area and within easy walking distance to two famous rocky beaches, about 1 km from the centre of Lagos city. A perfect base for exploring.
