sister_luckThis year, being the hosts of the Christmas festivities, we decided to get a real tree. I kept nagging and then on December 23 we braved the drizzle and bought one at a discount price. There wasn't much left ornament-wise either, but I love that we've got an owl as the tree topper.
It all went rather well and now we're relaxing and playing with the presents.
I hope you all had a wonderful time at Christmas, whether you did any celebrating or not.

It was just a stroke of luck - when we got the tree we also hunted for ornaments and the owl was one of the few things left and then we thought it would look good up there.
