Yay, spiral staircase. I didn't look down. It didn't help that we got this long speech by the guide about me being responsible for the behaviour of the group and "Only walk on the left" and "Don't jump down the stairs, they will break". The view across the whole island was worth it though.
It's part of a silly little hunting palace erected by the guy who also built a mini-Bath complete with mini-Circus in the middle of nowhere of that island. Anyway, the 38m tower was thought-up by that famous architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel who is responsible for half of neoclassical Berlin.
