We've been keeping busy by doing the following in the last couple of days:
- Assemble a linen cabinet and put it on the upstairs landing.
- Turn the baby bed into a junior bed by disassembling and putting it together a little differently.
- Which is part of project "Make the little one sleep in his own bed" - Last night he fell asleep in there, proud of being a big boy now and came to visit us around three in the morning, with which we're okay because he does it without the least bit of fuss and all by himself.)
- Buy some more flowers and plant them and make the backyard garden look a little better.
- Wash the stairs and the filthy downstairs hallway that is actually not our responsibility.
- Wash the outside steps - both sets.
- Clean the garden furniture and give it a protective coat of oil.
- Paint the area around the door to the yard.
- Do some laundry.
- Buy a heavy-duty shelf for the dankish cellar and assemble it.
- Order a bathroom cabinet.
We could have washed all the windows and deep-cleaned the bathrooms, too, but we just didn't feel like it.
Well, maybe tomorrow. There's also an office to sort out....
The little one has been mostly helpful - filling and emptying the washing machine and dryer, helping with the dishes by putting the dirty ones in the dishwasher and the clean ones in the cabinets and hoovering. This takes a lot of patience on the part of his parents.
