This little person was made - oh so many years ago - by my mother, probably in '79 or '80. I can remember that we collected the corn husks in a field somewhere. I found this and several others like it in a box from the basement. I've decided to put them out in the backyard among the plants - they are decorative in their own way and I didn't want to throw them out just like this after keeping onto them for so long. When the rain comes, they will topple over and get soaked and then disintegrate.

The concept is fine, but in actual fact I'll have to pick up the styrofoam head and wire frame underneath all the organic material. So, not really perfect compost heap fodder.
