Tuesday turned out to be a crappy day.

Being very tired after a parents' evening on Monday night until ten o'clock, I let my class make me absolutely mad. They were being obnoxious in their usual ways and instead of reacting adequately I became more and more frazzled - it was too hot in the classroom and having to raise my voice made me feel faint. I had managed to calm myself down a couple of times, but in the last minute I exploded flinging my pencil-case at the floor, shouting out my anger and then I stormed out. It took me a good while to control my breathing again and I felt the effects the whole day.
After that I had another lesson and two meetings and then another conference.
When I came home I more or less went straight to bed to read a little bit and to calm down some more.
The boys were off to Great-grandma's birthday and called me at around six to tell me they were coming home. My question "And how is everyone?" was met with a "Fine" and some murmuring about a visit to the hospital. "Didn't you see all the blood?"

Yep, the little one's head met the coffee table - just when they were about to leave - and that resulted in a cut above his right eye. It was superglued and it didn't slow him down a bit. His dad on the other hand lost his appetite completely and didn't have any of the birthday cake.

I was very happy when they arrived home and I gave them both a very big cuddle.
