May. 10th, 2010 06:27 pmLost doesn't do action well: The shoot-out scenes were terrible. Our Losties shooting at people just doesn't work for me. And apart from that? More connections in the AlternaWorld. Sun and Jin's fate was rather predictable. Sob! That bomb? Predictable. Jack's epiphany about the bomb? Slightly less predictable, but not such a big surprise, because the whole getting everyone on the submarine was just not in any way sense-making./end rant
The ruling coalition lost its majority. Now we've got a truly hung parliament: The two main parties have exactly the same number of seats. Main opposition party, the Social Democrats + smaller favourite coalition partner (Greens) = one seat less than the majority. There seem to be two possible coalitions: 1) The two main parties doing it together, which would mean a government formed out of Conservatives and Social Democrats and you can guess how often they agree on something. Or 2) Social Democrats + Greens + (Post-)Communist Left, with the Left by some considered to be unworthy of participating in any government as they're fundamentally opposed to real democracy (and some think they're a bunch of loonies). And then there are all sorts of other colour combinations possible, with yellow being represented by our Liberal Democrats.
