Behaviourism.

On Monday and Tuesday, the parents come into school to enquire as to how their children are doing.
Maybe that's why O. has suddenly become a model pupil, at least compared to his usual disruptive self. Now he participates and is more than willing to provide the answers to my questions. Shouting "Me, me, me, me" might not be age-appropriate nor endear him to his classmates and teachers, but he tells me he wants to do better in class.
I'd like to think though that this change isn't due to parent-teacher meetings but came about when I asked him to help with a small task in the classroom.
We'll see how long it lasts and yes, school has me well and truly back.
