Oct. 25th, 2009 08:11 pmSomehow we managed to go for a walk, in the park as always, but for the first time in ages we strolled through the newer part going as far as the big lake and the petting zoo. Along the way we counted the hipster brand strollers, the one that turned up in Sex and the City - and I'm glad we didn't buy one, not only because they're even more expensive and less practical, but because I don't want to be part of a crowd. Silly I know.
The light was fantastic, the colours were spectacular and I bring you a couple of pictures.
Up by the lake and the petting zoo you get wide views that would make you forget that you are in the city, were it not for the drone of the motorway tunnel close by.

The sky played Autumn Diva alternating between good-natured sunshine and threatening clouds:

I make it look so deceptively empty - this was taken right before we met a 20-strong party of 60-somethings who had decided to go on an after-lunch constitutional after finishing their meal at the nearby restaurant:

I've never before seen berries this colour - any idea which plant this is?
