The panic is over.

CTG was fine, showing no contractions.

Doctor had a look at me, too, and cervix is longer again.

She was visibly relieved and said that she felt better now about going on holiday knowing that things were fine with me.

I'd already calmed down yesterday and decided that everything would be alright today. Which probably helped.
