Ramble on what's to come.

sister_luckMy splendid isolation means that I haven't been exposed to the usual well-meaning comments by colleagues and other random people. But now that I'm definitely showing the neighbours are starting to weigh in. We've been informed that Mrs S is a Libra, too, and they're very nice people. Also, it's obvious I'm having a boy because my skin is nice and clear and girls give you spots. (I wonder what she would have said if I had told her I was having a girl - Yes, I can see that, you've got terrible skin?)
Apart from that, life is very lazy - the exams at school are over, except for one boy all my students passed (and that wasn't unexpected, he'd have needed a miracle to get through). I'll go see them next Friday when the re will be the handing out of diplomas after various speeches and I know I shall need tissues.
Our landlords have informed us that they're raising the rent, so that has given us a kick up the backside to start looking for a bigger place with a bit more urgency. Well, we've still got time and if it means paying a bit more rent for a couple of months, then so be it. If we don't move in 2009, it'll happen in 2010. Right now, we don't have the added stress of school and a baby, so ideally we should get going now.
