kazzy_cee, here are ten questions designed to reveal stuff about myself:
1. What is one of the most embarrassing things that has ever happened to you?
Embarrassing things don't just happen to me, I bring them about. Like the one time at school when I mispronounced Moses and came out with Möse, which is a slang word for vagina. As I was trying to teach kids just shy of puberty, it provoked a lot of laughter. But I'm not sure this is the most embarrassing thing - just a typical one.
2. What is one guilty pleasure that you indulge in?
Currently, I've got a fondness for gummy animals. I keep telling myself that my body needs the gelatine and as I found really cheap ones without artificial flavourings and colours, I don't feel that guilty about eating them.
3. What was your favourite show as a child?
Little House on the Prairie - I'm an only child, but I've got two boy cousins and two girl cousins. One girl cousin is older, one is younger. Guess who I identified with on the show?
4. How much time a day do you spend on Facebook?
I don't have an account there and I'm very glad that this question isn't about the internet in general or livejournal... What can I say? I've got too much time on my hands at the moment...
5. How old were you when you fell in love for the first time?
My tragic first love happened when I had just turned 16. Oh, it was all so doomed.
6. Do you collect anything?
I don't collect, I hoard. I've got a small collection of old English textbooks and dictionaries for the German market. They're fun.
7. What is your favourite song?
It depends on my mood and the situation I'm in. The Black Crowes "Thorn in my Pride" is an old favourite.
8. Have you ever written a sappy love poem?
Just the usual teenage drivel... It's a rite of passage.
9. How different is your adult life from what you imagined it to be at 16?
I've never been a big maker of plans, but she'd be a little surprised that I'm a teacher.
10. If you could stay any age for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Change is scary, but stagnation is worse.
