sister_luckI phoned that specialist guy - or rather his secretary/receptionist. Now I feel a little better.
Big time angsting will resume in early October.
It was the right time to do this - today I put all the important school dates into my calendar and though I couldn't get an appointment for the autumn break, because the Professor is probably on some skiing holiday, I have chosen the day after I have to hand in the first marks.
Also, there's a two-family gathering coming up and should the subject of family planning come up, I can now talk about the appointment without mentioning certain other details. Or not. I haven't decided that yet, but now I'm certain that I won't just burst into tears.
