On Sunday I went for a short walk while the boyfriend was helping his father to connect his computer to the world wide web. Our parents live only a half-hour drive away but in winter time it's a different world. Our Saturday snow didn't last the morning, theirs was still around on Monday morning, but it was being washed away by the rain then. Here's what it looked like on Sunday:

In the garden:

If you look closely, you can spot me in the reflection:

Fields in the snow (and kids on sleds in the background):

Brrr, it's cold:

Fence and fields:

I always seem to live close to Hope. There was a Hope in New Zealand and there's one that's part of Smalltown:

More traditional architecture:

A rusty shed:

Because we didn't get White Christmas last year:

Poor sheep. At least they've got their very own all natural woolen jumpers. ;-)

I'm glad you enjoyed the pics! Lovely icons, too.

Just a shame that there the snow on the trees had already gone.

Yeah, they looked slightly annoyed at the weather, but apparently it wasn't cold enough for them to hide in their shelter.
