I've never seen adverts like the right one, but that's probably because our high street isn't located in Little Turkey. The high street there (the one that attracts busloads of German Turks) is a bit out of my way. But it does run parallel with the street where the hookers advertise their merchandise by standing in the window in their underwear.
Our hookers are a bit closer to the railway line and they don't sit in groundfloor windows, though there's a tall building that faces the railway line where you can see windows with numbers and names on them and the occasional lady. That neighbourhood has a lot of immigrants, too.
My street is actually very mixed - there are still many owner-occupied shops that have been around for decades. I'll take some more pictures after I'm back from the classtrip.
