Going on a seaside holiday of course you encounter gulls.
The kid, on his first trip to the sea in Oostende, was very impressed by the signs there which told you not to feed the gulls. His translation of the signs into his own language was hilarious, but I don't remember it anymore.
The signs in St. Ives were very stylish - which goes with the territory I guess.
