The mix at the zoo is really extraordinary.

Last year they got an old-fashioned construction trailer full of reptiles (plus a spider and some insects).



This is a pretty collared lizard.



They've got a small porcupine family.

We thought it was cold, but the wolf seemed to enjoy the weather.

There are lots of birds:



The peacocks wander about freely.



This cockatiel shared an aviary with lots of other friendly birds.



This Uhu or Eurasian eagle owl lived next to yesterday's snowy owl.
