A very unexpected compliment.
Mar. 30th, 2012 08:11 pmI'm so glad that you're my teacher, she told me today. She is one of several rather disruptive girls in my form who present us with the full programme of defying authority by rule breaking, constant lateness and lots of other disrespectful behaviour. Just minutes after they had been told that there was going to be a meeting to discuss the situation with their parents some of them managed to get into trouble again. Today was the last day of school for our oldest students before their exams start after the break and their celebrations meant an early end to everybody's school day - officially sanctioned by the PTB I hastily add.
So our ladies thought it a good idea to visit the school next door and gate-crashing their friends' lessons over there which apparently resulted in one girl being shoved by a teacher and then a subsequent telling off by the headteacher who then used his direct line to our head and sent the girls back where they'd come from. Outraged, they related their adventures not quite understanding that they'd been trespassing and disturbing the peace. End result: We're the best teachers ever and they are going to always listen to us from now on.
