Indoor Sunday.
Dec. 19th, 2010 09:05 pmThere's lots of snow outside and it kept snowing through most of the day, so we stayed inside which means I got some marking done and played lots with the little one. Who has turned into a snot monster extra-ordinaire - he's teething, I believe. He's also trying to teach himself how to jump which is absolutely hilarious, because he keeps having giggle fits at his pretty feeble attempts which usually end in him flat out on the floor. We know he's trying to jump, because when we tell him to jump that's what he does.
He keeps showing us that he is unhappy with our housekeeping skills: He frequently wipes the floor or the coffee table with whatever piece of cloth he can find and he has got this old plastic cable storage pipe which he uses as a vacuum cleaner - providing the appropriate sounds himself of course. It also doubles as a trumpet or horn.
We've got our very first Christmas tree:

It's artificial, sits on our window sill and is decorated with the little books from the little one's Maus advent calendar.
