On the move.

I'm sitting here amid piles of boxes. The hoover is on overtime. Yesterday I exorcised my academic past which is a pretentious way of saying that I threw away loads of notes and photocopies that had survived the last purge. I really don't need to hold on to barely legible handwritten notes from a seminar about Jacobean drama. Finding my phonetics exam was fun though. Who would have thought that I once knew how to transcribe IPA-style epitome, seize and disadvantageous? I messed up on gauge though.

Outside it's white again. I don't mind the snow just now, but please, please, I'd like to have a snowfree day on Thursday, i.e. a day free of snow, not a day off because of the snow.
