I needed to disappear from the (online) world for a while and I'm not sure how ready I am to return, so be gentle with me. I only went to school for one day this year and the rest of my time I've spent 'resting', i.e. watching really mindless television, sleeping, eating and lounging around on the bed. The past six weeks I went out every Wednesday or Tuesday to see my doctor and to look at the screen of the ultrasound machine which has been showing me a blob develop into a little being with hands and fingers and legs and feet. My doctor is happy with me, so I'm cautiously optimistic, too. It's going to be a long time till September! Especially as I'm probably going to be spending the whole time at home, as this is a high risk pregnancy for a variety of reasons - though not age funnily enough, by a few months!
Oh, and I've been lurking here, too, occasionally, and I read most of my friendslist's posts, so I know some of your big news, too. (Congrats to the happy couple!)
So, let's discuss this new tv series, then, Dollhouse it's called, I think.
(My not-fully-thought-through verdict: A bit too expositiony, but with some strong scenes and lots of potential. Eliza Dushku seems a bit flat, but then she's a programmed doll.)
