I can tell it's Monday today..

... because this morning I was frantically looking for my wooly hat and gloves and just couldn't find them. As I wasn't going to scrape the frost off the car without gloves on, I started cursing and alerted the half-asleep boyfriend to my predicament. He suggested I take his gloves. As I didn't know where he'd put them, he had to get up and give them to me.

That was the moment when he found my gloves. In the hood of my padded jacket. Where I had put them.

I was already wearing my jacket and had been wondering why it felt unusual.
