April already?

Today wasn't completely grey and rainy like yesterday. It was an early April day with the most amazing light - a very dark sky illuminated by the sun, so that the white of the birch-trees and faint hint of green on the tree branches shone luminously. There was lightning and thunder when I came out of the building and on the way home there was a rather impressive hailstorm. Not quite apocalyptic - the hailstones were only slightly larger than average, but it gave me dramatic skies.
