Loud!

Franz Ferdinand concert last night was enjoyable.

The Rakes were alright, but a bit repetitive except for a ska-influenced song that I quite liked. I couldn't see much of what was going on anyway.
For the main event they had a huge video screen onstage - much appreciated by small people. Light and projections and general show were really good.
The sound was awful - it's difficult to get it right at the venue and it was just too loud and not properly balanced. I was glad for my earplugs! I managed to find a good spot from where I was able to see the stage and bob along to the music. Sat on some railings though, so now I've got a bruise on the back of my left thigh.
