Exhaustion.

Long day today full of teaching and meetings with parents - the same again tomorrow, only starting and finishing later in the day. I'll be completely knackered then, so I'll catch up with my posting now. Hell, I'm already exhausted now. Even though I slept through most of the weekend.

Which was good, because I've been battling this cold that started with a slightly sore throat Sunday last week and because, when the phone rang on Friday night and it was our newly-wed friends saying "Hey, we're in your town and there's a Halloween party and why don't we go out for a drink?" I perked up somewhat and we decided to go for it and finally fell into bed at 3 o'clock on Saturday morning.

Now I've got ten days left to get rid of the cough and stuffy nose. It was worth it though.

I'm back to school on Thursday and I'm leaving in Marking Hell until then.

Thank you. Thankfully, about 90% of the parents were very happy with how their kids are doing at the new school. *sigh of relief* Some minor squabbling between the kids needs to be sorted out as well as some issues about how much work in Maths the kids are supposed to do.
So, I'm fairly relaxed about the meetings, though the ten minute slots are really much too short and meeting so many people is just tiring.
