This is getting ridiculous.
The heating system is still behaving like a computer running Windows 98, which means it has to be re-booted several times a day, but we've got warmth and that's what matters. Thankfully, the technicians didn't want to go up on the roof in this kind of weather, so the installation of the new system has been postponed to next week. But some prep work was done yesterday including drilling a hole in the wall in the basement for the new outside sensor and that was when the shop downstairs lost their telephone and internet connection. Apparently,the guy managed to hit the telephone cable.
It's been fixed for now, temporarily at least.
No biggie in the grand scheme of things, but it seems so bloody typical.
