St. Ives.

St. Ives is a very pretty place and of course everyone else thinks so, too, so it's teeming with tourists, but not horribly so. It's just very full. Parking is only possible outside the town which I think is absolutely fine, but it's a bit on the expensive side. They could probably pedestrianize more of the area around the harbour - at least during the summer months when they already restrict parking in several streets.

But yes, very very pretty, especially in the evening light:

I've still got a few photographs left to show you.

This time the theme rocks. I used to dream of becoming a geologist when I was a pre-teen. I still like hunting for unusual stones, pebbles, crystals, fossils and have accumulated a modest collection over the years of thoroughly unspectacular findings which nonetheless mean a lot to me.

As promised here is more of my photography (just be glad that I'm not showing you all of my pictures).

Mostly landscape - so if that doesn't rock your boat, don't look )

Under the cut you'll find a picture I took of a comic book shop window in Canterbury.

I'm a big fan of graffiti and street art of any kind (I even own a book about it). Many thanks go out to [ profile] frances_lievens for alerting me to the great Wooster Collective site.

Of course, with my new digital camera I had to take pictures of the street art I found during my trip to England. There isn't anything spectacular in the pictures (and some of them have been taken at weird angles), but I still want to post them. So, if you wanna see, they're behind the cut.
