Updating the update.
I meant to post this on Wednesday to wish distractogirl a happy birthday, but, I wanted to add a picture and then photobucket wouldn't cooperate. Excuses, excuses, I know! And I started this post yesterday and now it's Friday evening!

In other news, our living conditions have improved: the laminate flooring downstairs is complete, we've got doors down there, too, which means the kitchen is finally in use. No more washing dishes in the bathroom sink! The doors of the kitchen cabinets still have flaws in them and on Monday we are supposed to get a phone call from the guy who has to inspect them before new ones can be ordered. But that's a minor thing.
And I'm on holiday!
And there are lots of projects ahead!
Maybe I'll finally get around to watching some television again, too.
